Job Description

Internet Sales Manager

Purpose:

Develop DFC direction by providing a better understanding of the evolving internet channel, developing an overall company strategy to address our internet channel, and by leading execution by refining and creating internal guidelines and measures as well as working with and managing key internet sales partners. 


Principal Accountabilities: 

 



  • Maintain and support existing Delta, Brizo and Peerless brand strategies in the online environment promotional program development with key online retailers and develop online direct selling model for replacement parts

  • Work with “qualified” Internet Partners to assure DFC builds an Internet Sales Foundation coupled with the protection of our pricing structure with our “traditional customer base”.

  • Major contact to “Internet Suppliers” YOW and Distribution Point including materials to go to market.

  • Build Amazon.com with new product files and provide product line and pricing support.

  • Manage and keep all key internet retailers current with product information and pricing.

  • Provide internet customers with new content, including images, product data and pricing, spec sheets, marketing materials, etc.

  • Work with key internet retailers on targeted promotions to drive incremental business

  • Drive management of Brizo internet policy enforcement and Delta IMAP policies- this includes monitoring web activity, identifying violators, buying products to establish source of supply, writing letters to violators while keeping the sales trade team updated on progress.

  • Assist Retail Channel in key customer preparations during line reviews


Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge


Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in an internet sales role in both an administrative and sales capacity.  Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary for successful execution of position.  Must have demonstrated attention to detail, excellent phone skills and be able to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.  Must be skilled in using/researching on the internet and have experience with successfully learning and working with new software systems. Must be independent and a self starter while processing the skills to work cross functionally within a team environment.
