Job Title: Part-Time Videographer (this position will be paid hourly by project)

Position Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
· Provides quality audio & video gathering and editing to assist in storytelling, either live or on tape, for video presentation in accordance with station and broadcasting standards.
· Responsible for shooting & editing projects as assigned by manager.
· Shoots & produces video that is relevant to the project, pleasing to the eye and holds the viewers interest. Assists in generating project ideas.
· Edits raw video (using non-linear system) to create High-Definition quality video for website, DVD’s, as well as other needs.
· Works collaboratively with Interactive Manager and team members in order to complete each project.
· Gathers interviews for projects as required.
· Maintain positive work environment and winning attitude through active team participation.
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements Include:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience in television and/or video production or similar classroom experience.
· Knowledge of English usage, spelling, punctuation, & grammar, as well as the preparing of and editing techniques.
· Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
· Must apply professional and ethical standards in all decision making.
· Must have the ability to learn, or experienced in, the operation of all camera gear, editing equipment, monitors, and other television production equipment.
· Must be able to perform under extreme pressure and deadlines.
· Must be able to work independently and use good judgment.
· Valid driver’s license and state mandated automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record are required.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and the endurance to transport video camera and equipment for long distance and in difficult conditions.
· Ability to work in outside weather conditions.
