SENIOR OIL AND GAS ACCOUNTANT 

Seeking additional oil and gas accountants to join the accounting department of our Tyler client. They are a successful independent exploration and production company and are seeking a solid general accountant with oil and gas experience. E&P experience is much preferred. This is well-managed, stable company with very good benefits.

Successful candidates need to:

• Be able to handle GL, JEs, closings, reconciliations, deposits and other areas of general accounting.
  
• Have experience in oil and gas accounting—most especially in general accounting for E&P.
  
• Revenue or JIB a real plus. 
  
• Be motivated, a self-starter and a team player.
  
• Minimum five years solid accounting experience. 
  
• Have a BBA in accounting. If not, a two year degree plus years of significant accounting in O&G.
  
• Be a true professional with great desire to join the team.

All candidates need a good knowledge of MS Office software, especially Excel and Word. Software tests to be administered.
