Software Tester/Quality Assurance

Position Summary

As a Quality Assurance team member at Epic, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software lives up to its world-class reputation. These detail-oriented perfectionists test our software from a medical professional's perspective to make sure it's efficient and intuitive. As a part of our testing team, you'll use your creativity to push our software to the limit. First we use it right, and then we use it wrong. Thinking outside the box, you'll work side by side with our developers to create high quality healthcare software. Kick your career into high gear - break our code. You bring your intelligence, creativity and curiosity; we'll teach you the rest.

More than just important work.
Epic is located in Madison, Wisconsin, a city regularly ranked as one of America's best places to live. You'll earn competitive wages and receive benefits befitting a leading software company (401k match, great health insurance, life insurance, performance bonuses and stock appreciation rights). Epic's environment is one of continuous learning; you'll have access to opportunities to expand your skill set and share your knowledge with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any major)
  • History of academic and professional success
  • No technical or software background required. We teach you to be an expert in our applications.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed)

About Epic

At Epic, you’ll work at the intersection of two incredibly challenging fields: medicine and technology. Over half of the U.S. population has a current Epic record and we’re continuing to expand internationally as well, so you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact that is not only meaningful but also far-reaching.

Epic is private and employee-owned. We develop and support our software in-house, and have enjoyed steady growth since the company was founded in 1979. Our customers - mid-size and large healthcare systems, academic medical institutions, and children’s hospitals - are crucial partners in our effort to improve healthcare for care providers and for their patients.
